February 2022 was definitely not my best month. I basically spent a lot on advertising, only to find out one of my main affiliates stopped sending me funds. I probably could make a case that they should pay out the additional funds due, but I have far too little time for additional $3,000 – $4,000. Anyhow a major road bump, but we will see what happens.
Also, I am realizing that you may also be interested making money from blogging, so I put together this guide to show how to get started blogging for money.
A friend of mine mentioned how affiliate revenue can be so flaky. I couldn’t agree more after this month’s performance.
Amazon affiliate performed the best ever at $6.73. Can I retire early? Not sure, but that may be almost a 200% revenue increase from January. Now I just need a few more of those.
Highs
Here are the two biggest highs from January 2022.
1. Secondary Affiliate Is Consistent
I had high highs and low lows with my main affiliate, but I am really happy that my secondary affiliate is consistent. I made about $470 last month in revenue and am probably on track for a similar number this month.
2. $5 Per Click Affiliate
The $5 per click affiliate is live, but it’s not really make much at this point. In my entire Impact, I only made $159 in revenue from 69 clicks. Not a great month.

Lows
Here are the two biggest lows from this month.
1. Biggest Affiliate Goes Downhill
Unfortunately, I basically lost the sweetheart deal of my biggest affiliate, which brought in thousands of dollars in profit each month. Oh well, it was a bummer, but it happens!
2. Potentially break even or losing money on one affiliate
I was really excited about one affiliate this past month that has a cool product and that paid $5 per click on an article that got a lot of traffic. Unfortunately, I have only gotten 7 clicks thus far for under $40.
I’m not sure what to do about that affiliate going forward.
